Eau "Claire"
🇨🇴 Ayer manejamos desde Chicago hasta cerca de Minneapolis. La sorpresa del camino fue una tormenta fuerte llegando a Eau Claire, Wisconsin. La lluvia y el viento estaban tan fuertes que tuvimos que salir de la carretera para esperar a que pasara la tormenta.
Como era hora de comer fuimos a un restaurante cruzando por calles inundadas. AhÃ, en los celulares y en un televisor nos enteramos que el área estaba bajo advertencia de tornados a causa de la tormenta. Cuando terminamos de comer ya no habÃa tormenta, ni vimos tornados, y llegamos bien por la noche al hotel.
🇺🇸 Yesterday we drove from Chicago to Minneapolis. The surprise along the way was a strong storm as we approached Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The rain and the wind were so strong that we had to exit the freeway to wait the storm out.
Since it was time for dinner we went to a restaurant through flooded streets. There, on our phones and a TV we learned that the area was under tornado watch due to the storm. When we finished dinner the storm had passed and there had been no tornadoes, and we arrived safely that night at the hotel.
